If you have installed and uninstalled Avast antivirus on your computer, then you have an incomplete system. You cannot uninstall it and you cannot transfer it to another computer. This is because Avast is a complex software that requires a good working environment in order to operate properly. The reason why many users are having issues when they try to transfer Avast to a new computer is that they fail to find an appropriate environment for the software. Before you start the process of transferring Avast to a new computer, you should make sure that you have the most suitable environment available for it.

Step by Step Procedure

The first thing that you should do is to uninstall Avast from your computer. When you are finished with removing it from your machine, you will have no more need for it. Now, you should locate the setup or install files of the software. It is strongly suggested that you leave the setup file alone and delete it. It will only be located in the following location: C:/Program Files/AA/vendor/media.

However, if you still have the setup files, you can go ahead to install them. After you have installed them, open the newly installed Avast antivirus program. It is strongly recommended that you read the instructions carefully. Once you have done so, you should locate the following folders: C:/Program Files/ AA/vendor/amedit. The folders will look like this: all your preferences and other information about your computer. If there was any damage done to your registry during the installation process, you will have to reinstall the registry. The settings database stores all the configurations and preferences in the form of keys. When you uninstall Avast, this information will be left behind in your registry.

In order to fix this problem, you have to back up your registry. To do this, you will have to locate the following paths: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Machine. This folder will contain the settings database. Open it up. You will find that it has the following values: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_ Settings In case you didn’t know it, this is where your desktop wallpaper is kept.

Open the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder and you will see a folder with the name of Program Files. There are two things that you have to search for: Programs and Settings. Search for the settings folder and you will see settings related to the programs on your new computer. Open the files and copy the following setting: options for avast! If you have a Windows version that is before Windows 98, this setting is enabled by default. It will also allow the use of Portable Document Format. You should also take note that this feature is only available on some computers.

Internet Explorer browsers:

This refers to the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser. On most recent computers, you can also download the Mozilla Firefox browser instead. On older versions of Windows, you can still use this one.

Network settings:

This is a security setting meant for your entire network. It allows you to turn off advertisement and pop-up blocking. It will also allow you to adjust your Internet speed. By default, it’s disabled. To set it to On, just click Start, Run and type “MSConfig” in the field.

Internet options:

User profile:

On your desktop, you will see a panel with several icons. These represent your user profiles. The clock is usually placed at the center of the panel. To access your other user profiles, you can right-click on your user name and select “Manage”. Here you can create or modify your user profile and transfer Avast!

System requirements:

You may need to install a specific piece of software before copying Avast! onto your new computer. There are a number of programs available that will do this automatically for you. If you don’t want to install any software, you can use the built-in Windows features to manage to copy and moving Avast!

Time limit:

Some people like to have more than one hour to copy Avast! onto their computer. If you choose to have this option, then this copy will be deleted after this time. To prevent this from happening, make sure you configure your computer so that it cannot store more than one hour of data in its “temp folder”.

How-to:
