The AirPods are wireless earphones that connect to your devices like iPhones, iPads, and Macs through Bluetooth. How to reset AirPods?

STEP 1

To reset your AirPods, use the included Lightning charging cable to connect them to any power source. A message will appear on your iPhone’s display indicating that it’s updating your AirPods’ software.

After the update is complete, the “Hello” screen will appear on both AirPods. You can now follow the usual steps to pair your AirPods with all of your Apple devices.

2nd STEP (optional)

For older models (such as iPhone 5s), you can also press and hold the setup button (the round one located between the 2 AirPods) until you see a white light circling around both AirPods. Now go to step 1 again and it should work.

Please note: Don’t unplug the charged Airpods before you see a white light circling both of them and keep holding the setup button until it comes on and then releases the button.
